He took a tentative step forward, but she recoiled, her body trembling with the weight of past pain. Her foot was aching continuously but she couldn't stop, not when she has come this far from him. Her freedom was just some miles away. "You can do it" she encouraged herself. The road in front of her was deserted, the rain started pouring heavily making her completely damp, the cold wind was blowing ominously making her shake badly. Suddenly a question arose in her mind. "Did I really run away from him or came back in the same cage".......
Is it easy to break a person? That too beyond repair? How can someone be this much cruel to inflict pain on others? Her bruises constantly remind her of the pain she has endured. The pain which broke her completely and made a permanent place of fear in heart, body and soul. She is a victim and this is her story.
